Roar To The World….

I am such a lucky woman.

I get to do what I love and, to top it all off, I have THE BEST clients ever! I want to tell you about one that has been with me for YEARS. I’m not going to say how many years because I don’t want to give away our ages.

So when the Wonderful Mrs. E texted me and said she NEEDED a spot for my Limited Edition Waiting For Santa studio sessions, I was thrilled!

And when she sent me photos of the PJs that she got her trio, I just about DIED. Then, when I started breathing again and picked myself up off the floor, I got busy planning.

My friends, let me show you what happens when Mrs. E and I go all in on a theme…

First, I had to decorate the set a little differently… Luckily, the talented designer that helped me with this made sure that things could be adjusted easily!

Yeah, those are dinosaurs. SO. MANY. DINOSAURS. My kiddo was more than happy to lend me his collection. He even helped me get everything into place.

Then came the wild bunch!

You guys, I seriously lost it. There are no words to describe the feeling of having your studio overrun by dinosaurs!

The kids got super into it and really committed to their rolls!

You know these young ladies must love their brother sooo much to agree to this! ❤

I even made little T rex cookies for the occasion! Thank goodness I am a better photographer than cookies decorator!

Thanks for check this out! We had so much fun! These Limited Edition studio sessions are only available until December 18th, so head over to the WEBSITE or FACEBOOK to reserve a session! Send me a msg to get on our email list for future sessions and promotions!

Christmas Tree Farm!

I know I’ve neglected this blog ALL YEAR LONG, and I do apologize.

But I am back with photos from our Limited Edited Tree Farm Sessions and I am SUPER excited to share them with you!

We had sooooo much fun at the farm. This was a first for us and I am really glad that we booked it this year. It was a bit of a drive from St. Louis, but the fall color was lovely!

Originally I had planned on sharing all of the session in one post, but I really think that each session deserves it’s own blog. I really do have the best clients ever!

Scott also did a little behind the scenes VIDEO, if you wanted to check that out.

For now, meet the P Family! This was their second year coming to me for holiday photos and I love seeing how big the kiddos got! So darn cute!

I am confident that we will be doing session out at the farm again next year. If you are interested in more information about that, check out the WEBSITE and send me a msg with your email address so that you can get added to our list!

Tiny Tuesday 1.15.13 {and a cat}

Happy Tuesday to you! It’s a cold one today and I thought about cheating on my Tiny Tuesday challenge. I didn’t want to go outside so I was thinking about pulling some old photos off the hard drive to pass off today, but I didn’t and I am very glad! Everything outside is frosted over and these shots were worth the 10 minutes out in the yard. And since I’ll be trapped at my desk today and tomorrow, it was nice to be out in the sunlight, even for just a few minutes.

I’ve also thrown in a few shots of one VERY spoiled cat. He likes this cold weather about as much as I do.

St. Louis Mardi Gras | Snowman Softball

I don’t pretend to know much about softball, I’m a hockey/football kind of girl myself, but it looks like a ton of fun!! I remember Snowman Softball from last year. It was bitter cold and the ball fields in Forest Park were covered in a thick layer of ice. You couldn’t run the bases, you had to skate and slide. This year the challenge was mud. Calf deep in some places! You have to admire the dedication of these players! Before I show you the photos I wanted to urge you to go to to check out a listing of events for the rest of the season. Mardi Gras in St. Louis is about way more than just the Grand Parade! On Saturday, January 19th, Fifth Third Bank presents the SSM Cardinal Glennon Family Winter Carnival! This is a 100% family friendly Mardi Gras event! Inflatables, crafts, entertainment, all in a huge heated tent. It opens at 11am. The kids can decorate their own masks, crowns and capes. At 4pm the children get to walk in their own parade through the streets of Soulard! Go to the website for details!

And now for a few of my favorite images from yesterday, and a video!

(as always, all of the photos I took from yesterday can be seen on my website,! Did I catch you?)
