Love is in the air…

And now you have that song stuck in your head, right?!?!?!

You can thank me later. 🙂

Saturday night I had the honor of catching a guy proposing to his girl. (Guys, this is important. If you plan a proposal and it isn’t lame, call a photographer to be there! Talk about bonus points!) It was awesome. This Groom-to-be put some serious thought into making this night special. From the custom menu to the adorable dessert. Please welcome Jason and Sam to the RCI family! Wedding will be later this year and the bride and I are putting our heads together to come up with a fun and creative Engagement shoot! I can’t wait for some warmer temps!

Congratulations you guys!

And you KNOW there’s a video…

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to see if they’ve made my dreams come true and added episodes of The Love Boat to Netflix…

Tiny Tuesday | RCI Office Edition

It’s still Tuesday so this counts! I was sanding floors in the office today and suddenly remembered that I hadn’t taken any photos for #TinyTuesday. So I grabbed my iPhone (Yes! I said iPhone!) and just grabbed a few photos of things around my office. So here you go! Enjoy!

Useful for bringing difficult clients around to my way of thinking.

Easter Chocolate is a Sin…

So, if you know me, then you know that music is a HUGE part of my life. If you’ve ever been here in my office then you know that I usually have to turn down the stereo so that we can carry on a conversation. Billy Joel once called music “an explosive expression of humanity.” I agree with him.

I don’t listen to the radio very much. I don’t like hearing the same thing over and over. I have an eclectic taste in tunes. I mostly have playlists that go by moods (and all of my playlists have interesting fun names).

Since I’m always on the lookout for new music, I will post on my personal Facebook page from time to time, asking what’s out there that I might enjoy. Last night I was able to throw out some names that people haven’t heard of. So I thought that instead of posting photos, I would copy and paste the playlist that I’ve been listening to the last few weeks. Some of it you’ll be familiar with, others will leave you searching iTunes (it can all be found there, trust me). All of it being together in one playlist will make you wonder what the heck is wrong with me, but I get that quite a bit so I’m used to it.

Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to live and to everything.

I present to you the playlist ‘Easter Chocolate is a Sin’

(WARNING: This is a serious genre whirlwind. May cause spontaneous awesomeness.)

Tiny Tuesday – Crafty Edition

Yeah, yeah… I’ve spaced on posting Tiny Tuesday posts. In my defense, it was a wicked crazy Mardi Gras season and I needed some recovery time. But now that it is all over and done with, I thought today would be a good day to start it back up. It’s been cold here. In my spare time (ha!) I’ve been doing quite a bit of knitting. Everyone is having babies. Blankets are easy and don’t require much attention for me. This last blanket is going to a sweet baby boy and I didn’t use a pattern. If you are a knitter, then you’ll understand the yarn addiction.

I’ll try to remember to take a photo of the finished blanket. It should be done sometime in the next few days. 🙂

Stay tuned for contest information! I started a contest on Facebook yesterday as an afterthought. Really, I was bored. So later today I’ll do a blog/twitter/facebook contest entry with the rules and deadlines. 🙂

Have a happy Tuesday and be careful out there!
